A President's last press conference usually creates quite a stir. Standing room only usually is the order of the day. And you know, there are people who's only job it is to, you know, show up to the press conferences in a building that is attached to the White House.
According to WaPo's Milbank, it was hardly a full house.
Leave it to the interns to solve yet another problem for very smart people.
Maybe it's not the President's fault. Maybe this administration just isn't good at telling people stuff. What's that about history repeating itself?
When events happen more than once, usually the press will coin some snappy word or phrase for it (clusterfuck-gate, et al). I have yet to see a solid euphemism for the Bush administration's inability to get people to care about what they are saying. It's downright Brownbackian.
This one goes out to the interns.
